Savant is a read only application designed to make use of Planchest's rich
contact information. It starts very quickly and allows users to search by name and/or
company (including soundalikes) or by project. Again, the project search can be
on partial project name or number so that it can be used as a project finder also.
Once you have found the contact or contacts you need, you can copy and paste the
details, or use one of the action buttons to map the postcode, copy the contact
to your Outlook address book, send an email or make an appointment.
If configured to work with your company templates and file saving conventions, Savant
can top and tail a draft letter complete with project details and file reference,
if applicable, and your signature information.
Savant can even be set up with IP Telephony to dial the number for you!
