About Planchest
Planchest Ltd is a very small company. However this has not
deterred some of the UK’s top 10 contractors and Architects from choosing
Planchest databases for systems in regular use by up to 30 staff a day situated
at offices all over the UK and now as far afield as Beijing and Sydney.
The company Planchest was created by Peter Lord who remains
Director. Peter is a qualified Architect and has been producing construction
industry databases for over 12 years.
Stephen Solt who now undertakes most
of the development trained and worked as a Chartered Building Surveyor but has
been working with office systems and software for much of his professional life
and has been automating AutoCAD and Office documents including database assisted
creation, naming and saving for about 20 years.
Planchest databases and software are always written using
popular and accessible programming code and conventions and employing Microsoft
technologies. Planchest is happy to trust its clients with source code and to
ensure that your IT personnel have as much knowledge about how everything works
as they can absorb.
